Our Mission: Challenges Foundation’s mission is provide sailing experiences to Veterans, and also youth and adults who face life or physical challenges, while also providing an education of oceanography, nautical history, marine vessels, and wildlife.
In 2016 our famous sailboat, Emerald, was placed into dry dock and we have been waiting for an angel donor to help restore this magnificent boat.
Trenton Carroll is our hero! After Emerald (Challenges Foundation's sailboat) had to be dry docked for major repairs, we were without a boat to take our sailing. For the last several years, Trent has tirelessly and generously donated not only the use of his boat but his time for each Veterans sail.
Trent is a hero for our heroes. We are grateful to Trent and Cruising Yachts (cruisingyachts.net) for the dedication to our program and to our veterans.
